Go Green, it's St Patricks Day

It’s a day late, and I was only reminded of St Patrick’s Day via tomorrow.sg, via this blog, via kennysia.com.

But it’s still ok to think green! Here are some things you can do:

  1. Since the weather’s a bit cooler, turn off your air-cons and open your windows!
  2. You can walk for longer instead of taking motorised transport!
  3. Wonder out very loudly how come SGP 2012 and every other Singaporean government environmental initiative feels like they’re on the backburner instead of the forefront, as they should be?
  4. Check out Earth Hour (and Earth Hour Singapore – and then agree wholeheartedly with me (and not some newspaper hack) that hype and symbolism is better than complete ignorance!
  5. Check out ECO Singapore
  6. Check out greendrinks.sg!

    Since the temperatures have been plummeting to 23 degrees on some nights, it’s even colder than if I had turned the aircon on at 25 degrees!

    I’ve attended the past 2 Green Drinks events. The crowd is young and enthusiastic, and a blast to hang out with.

    So come check it out. 🙂
