An NZ court has found GlaxoSmithKline guilty of misleading advertising because there’s actually no detectable vitamin C in Ribena. But in Singapore, the AVA has certified that local Ribena Berries aren’t just cannibals, they’ve also been ‘certified rich in vitamin C’.

The laws in Singapore are stricter, and it’s considerably like the slimming pills case a few years back. Cause, it gets checked every few years, once the check is cleared, they cut down/change the ingredients used, etc.
Funny thing. After hearing about the case, my mum went to get a bottle of Ribena.
old news.…
lol. thankfully sg’s ribena has vit c.
Well it looks like some have different perspectives over “rich in vitamin C” certification. As a possible client I am not willing to accept misleading advertising, specially when it comes to health aspects… this is outrageous!
