This evening, the wife and I take dinner at the Village. Our lives have been really hectic lately, bordering on manic.
So we decided to eat, chill, and make really detailed lists of what we’re supposed to get done with work and otherwise.
My list is five pages long. I have many things to do.
I feel better after making the list. I see my wife’s list and discover that she’s about to take off on a holiday. Sans husband! Basket!
She says, ‘Sorry hubz, maybe next time I take you with me. I really can’t let you sponge off me now. You have to earn your keep, ok?’
With that, she pays for dinner, coffee, and a slice of NYDC’s Goldmine cheesecake.
