It’s confirmed. They’re good for you.
Because “women all over the world live healthier and longer lives”, The Straits Times tells us we should “take a leaf” from our wives.
So I told my wife and she said, “Can you be more specific? What kind of leaf? Lettuce? Cabbage? Basil? Banana? Palm?”
Maybe there’s a leaf that might stop one from mangling idioms.
