No matter how hard I try not to, I keep forgetting how lush Singapore is, and how tranquil some places are. Sunday afternoon at the Botanic Gardens was a treat. If you have a dog, you’ll make your dog a really happy one going walkies there.

In another ten years time, the Botanic Garden could be the only green and natural park left in Singapore. The rest of the parks? Could they be slaughtered to give way for flats, MRT stations, shopping centers, condos, and… golf courses?

Too bad Orchard Road will be losing 2 of its last small green lungs soon. All in the name of making more money.

I doubt it’s very pleasant to go to Botanic Garden on a hot humid sunny afternoon. The only time when it’s nice is early in the morning around 6 to 7am and around 7pm.

Can vouch for that, my dog loves Botanic Gardens, especially since the cafe there is dog friendly =)

The photo looks like it is…er…was..taken in NTU..should still be the same unless those despicable buildings have started mushrooming again 🙁
