If you need directions, Google Maps are great, and in the U.S. you can even download them onto your phone. This is really useful considering we know how detailed some of the Google Maps and Google Earth stuff can be.
In Singapore, presumably because it’s not 2015 yet, we’re stuck with using streetdirectory.com, which is pretty nifty already:

No. It’s not because all the photos depict Ang Mohs happily using all manner of mobile devices! It’s because it says that street directory books are ‘doggy’ and outdated.
I do own several doggy books but none of them have maps. Guess I’ll have to throw those out too.
