Got hope lah

Last night I spoke at an SMU Alumni event called “Passion Unleashed“, and it was heartening to see people sharing the same ideas about passion, work and compassion.

What struck me was the number of people I spoke to later who talked about setting up social enterprises, non-profits and training people how to run social enterprises and non-profits. It’s been like that in the past two years or so, and it bodes well for this country.

Then this morning, I read news about the MOE not publishing top PSLE scorers anymore. That’s really good news unless you’re selling essence of chicken and need to endorse a bright student who’s not a vegetarian.
