From Selena : on the phone, mr ng and mr nazem informed me that it was due to a last minute change in a nominator. whatever the case, mr ng has reiterated to me that he will return everything that was transferred to Ms noraine and himself yesterday. please help to pass the message on. thanks

As you have read in today’s ST, the independent opposition team that was to run for Tanjong Pagar GRC had to pull out for lack of funds. If you’d like to donate, please give what you can by transferring funds to POSB SAVINGS ACCT 104280293 NOW

Apparently you can do so by tonight, and you can call 81721071 to verify.

Please note that only Singaporeans can donate.

    I am rather disappointed with you, Miyagi. Did you think the SDA deserved any help, making an appeal at the eleventh hour? And now we know they can’t even fill in a few forms in time!

    DEMOCRACY OR AUTOCRACY ???

    THIS ELECTION BOILS DOWN TO ONE MAIN ISSUE:-

    Do Singaporeans want a Democratic or an Autocratic government???

    The fudamental essential of a Democratic government is a strong 2 party system.

    Without the checks and balances of a strong opposition there can be- “NO DEMOCRACY!!! ”

    Our history has shown that our 2 opposition seats in parliment is grossly insufficient to “CHECK and BALANCE” the (almost) absolute power of the PAP.

    We need “MORE OPPOSITION” in parliment for a more Democratic, Caring and Compassionate government for Singaporeans.

    We need a government that takes care of-

    “SINGAPOREANS FIRST!!!”

    – “NOT FOREIGNERS FIRST!!!”

    VOTE OPPOSITION FOR A FREE SINGAPORE!!!

    “VOTE OPOSITION !!!”
