I found this warning sign funny.
Then again, I mightn’t have found it funny if I had tripped over the said chain in the dark, having not seen the said warning sign because it was dark.

Shouldn’t it say “Look out for chain – beware of falling”?
The chain in itself can’t really hurt you, can it? Not like “beware of dog” where the canine in question can do serious damage itself.
