  5. MR BROWN FOR NMP

We love Mr Brown because he is like us, a common Singaporean struggling to feed our families, taking joy in the simple pleasures of life like time with his child. With the exit of sensible people like Tan Cheng Bock who are actually in touch with the sentiments of the man in the street, I fear for the 4 yrs ahead of us. And this is why we need someone like mr brown in the parliament, to be a voice for the common Singaporean.

Now, if only someone knows how we can get him nominated…

  7. I am surprised you’ve decided to continue writing for Today. For the money? Or? Not trying to accuse you of anything, but I figured you’d have stuck up for your buddy and withdraw your column from Today to show some support for mrbrown and reflect our distaste for Today.

But it’s your prerogative and whatever makes you happy.

    Best regards.

  9. Actually, I am glad Mr Miyagi is staying with Today. One remaining “breadwinner” is better none. Boycotting is not a wise move and there are other ways to show support for Mr Brown.

  11. haha!

mb, ur nabeh retort to Mr Miyagi’s housewife statement really puts things into perspectives. Haha!

Yeah, Mr Miyagi. By all means continue your Today column.

Don’t sacrifice a channel for doing what you guys had been doing all this while for the sake of making a (melodramatic) statement.

End justifies the means, and strangely I cannot shake the image of ??? from my head, inappropriate as it is. :p

Best of luck in all ventures!

  13. Selling your soul for a few pieces of silver? Does TODAY pay that well? If money is the issue, set up a Pay Pal account, and I’ll be the first to contribute – better than let NKF blow it on gold plated taps. Besides, aren’t you sitting on a gold mine already? Think of the Tur Kwa T-Shirts, persistently-non-political-podcast CDs, the patent on embedded ERP type IT marvel – think BIG!! Dude, I’m serious about the Pay Pal part.
