You have a reason to watch television, and that’s Singapore Idle. Watch as the eventual winner of the 2006 edition gets a contract as a poster boy for a convenience store, together with a sponsored single titled ‘My Love Is An Endless Big Gulp (If You’ll Swallow)’.

You have a reason to watch the Da Vinci Code movie, because of the hue and cry raised by Christians who believe that the film sullies their faith, or something.

    Now that is what I call a spoof video.

    Religion defies logic. That is fine.
    Religion is believed, but does not have to be proven empirically. That is fine.

    Satire demands the right to question commonly held beliefs and hold them up against the light of logic. That is the also known as scientific inquiry. Proof must be empirically demonstrated. Religion cannot offer such proof.

    Religion must be believed, not proved. That is fine.

    Society has many facets. That is fine.

    Now only if those Religious FUNdies can understand that the rest of the world doesn’t want to “BE LIKE THEM”, and get off their high and mighty religious camels, we might actually see less blood shed and emotional lives shattered over something that cannot be proven.

    Something like the way the Amish in America do it – you either want to live the Amish way, having gone beyond seen the ‘evils’ of modern society, or you are free to leave Amish society and live amongst the heathen.

    Religious FUNdies should be living proof of their own beliefs, and not force others to adopt their beliefs. Period. Any other approach should be given the satire this video has encompassed.

    haah, the over zealous religious ones should leave the rest of the world alone. They must take lessons from Buddha who’s trademark is come see & experience for yourself. Why must drag the rest we very sian you know….go out of obligation,friendship, etc etc feel so exploited!

    the video clip is very funny. I asked many of my colleagues to open the file for a good laugh.

    However, you definitely need to have good bible knowledge to get the jokes ( especially the 3 wise men ).
