A Singaporean, MrMiyagi, claims that HIV screening is mandatory for Singapore Nsmen who have trained overseas. He receives a notification to report for HIV testing three months after serving his duties at Queensland.

Curious minds want to know: Is it any of their business to mandate such screenings, since you’ve just completed your reservist obligation for this cycle? Shouldn’t it be the individual person’s responsibility to take a test, or else part of the regular fitness check at the next training cycle?
Also, who has access to these screening records besides the SAF?

it’s strange that it’s mandatory for ur unit when u guys went to rockhampton and it’s quite unlikely that anyone will HIV given the level of isolation, unless perhaps someone starts humping an infected kangaroo.
