  1. Those SOBs better think twice about doing that to our MRT. But then I think they won’t want to risk getting caught here. Coz’ even crossing over the yellow line without the train stopping can result in heavy fine already.

  5. Huh? Like the current MRT lines don’t run underground? Why must only be worried when Circle line is ready? Don’t make no sense at all.

The bombs were each lighter than 10 pounds and could be carried in a backpack, police said. They were probably made from simple, relatively easy-to-obtain plastic explosives.

So it’s not rocket science and it can be carried in a backpack. No wonder our ministers keep reminding us that it’s something that can happen here despite all that have been done. It’s matter of how we deal with the aftermath.

  9. i completely disagree with islamic terrorism- their methods, their aims.

but, iirc, this point has been brought up previously: how the fuck are they cowards. their ‘war’ is fought without modern weaponry: battle armour, tanks etc on their sides, in the case of suicide bombers, they make the ultimate ‘sacrifice’ possible.

Calling them evil in their methods, misguided, certainly works, but the ‘coward’ argument holds no water and is utilised only to obscure the matter at hand

  11. i dont agree with the bombing nor support it but cynical explanations by you and politicians will not lead to stopping the cycle of terror….

when Britain start bombing all over Iraq, without any justification, in order to get rid of Saddam, they actually killed more than 50,000 innocent civilians…

who set the precedent of slaughtering innocent civilians to stop a tyrant? from whom did the youths learn its ok to slaughter innocent civilians to stop the tyrant Blair? not me nor you. its the British government.

if the british government today bomb out china and kill 50,000 chinese civilians in order to protect “democracy of taiwan” or “to bring democracy to China” even against the public disapproval of 1 million british citizens , will the british chinese youths sit still and write blogs?

this is the bitter reality of what will happen when one humiliates another… malcolm x once said… when you push and aggravate someone he will become sad… but when you push and aggravate him further he will become mad…

Should the cycle of terror stop, politicians of western nations should take the lead. otherwise it will be an endless tit-for-tat game where innocent civilians like me and you will be caught as pawns.
