Mr Bross Nann wouldn’t buy 10,000 birds, would he?

A little girl wants to buy five birds so that she can set them free so that she can wish her brother who is going away good fortune. She only has enough money for one because she, like millions of restless natives, does not have a platinum Visa card. Little girl’s dodgy reasoning notwithstanding, how many birds would you buy with your platinum Visa card so that she, her brother and the bird vendor can be happy?

a) 1

b) 2

c) 3

d) 4

e) 10,000
