From Selena : on the phone, mr ng and mr nazem informed me that it was due to a last minute change in a nom­i­na­tor. what­ever the case, mr ng has reit­er­ated to me that he will return every­thing that was trans­ferred to Ms noraine and him­self yes­ter­day. please help to pass the mes­sage on. thanks

    THIS ELECTION BOILS DOWN TO ONE MAIN ISSUE:-

    Do Sin­ga­pore­ans want a Demo­c­ra­tic or an Auto­cratic government???

    The fuda­men­tal essen­tial of a Demo­c­ra­tic gov­ern­ment is a strong 2 party system.

    With­out the checks and bal­ances of a strong oppo­si­tion there can be– “NO DEMOCRACY!!! ”

    Our his­tory has shown that our 2 oppo­si­tion seats in par­li­ment is grossly insuf­fi­cient to “CHECK and BALANCE” the (almost) absolute power of the PAP.

    We need “MORE OPPOSITION” in par­li­ment for a more Demo­c­ra­tic, Car­ing and Com­pas­sion­ate gov­ern­ment for Singaporeans.

    We need a gov­ern­ment that takes care of–

    “SINGAPOREANS FIRST!!!”

    - “NOT FOREIGNERS FIRST!!!”

    VOTE OPPOSITION FOR A FREE SINGAPORE!!!

    “VOTE OPOSITION !!!”
