Some mothers are quite happy

On Mothers’ Day, we bought mum a lunch at a Teochew restaurant and a watch, which she liked enough to put on immediately, and I was so thrilled she liked it that I blurted out, “we bought it at a warehouse sale”!

It doesn’t mean I love my mother any less, you know? You know, right?

    boy am I glad my mum's not into this kinda thingy
    she complained once and i asked her would you rather we treat you well most time of the year or once a year; she smiled and snce then its been a smoother sailing for all the siblings kakakaka; alo, we still take her out on a regular basis la what were you guys/gals thinking

    Donce worry about your mom lah.. even if a child collects leaves/garbage from the floor/drains and gives them to the mother saying.."ma..I got this for YOU" will drive the mom to tears...

    must take special effort to go to warehouse sale you know?

  • I think your mother should be very pleased that you know how to save money by buying good quality stuff at low prices! Most mothers tend to nag about how we should save more and spend less, and this would show her that you're a good boy who heeds to her advice.

    After all, it's the thought that counts isn't it?
